Share, Group & Sync Documents Across Multiple Platforms With Twindocs

Twindocs desktop tool
Nowadays, there are lots of services available on the internet that allow you to upload large amounts of data for either sharing with others, or accessing it from a secondary device. Services such as Dropbox, Box.net, Google Drive and SkyDrive all provide users with the ability to store their documents online and sync them with multiple devices. Most of these services let you upload files and manage them by using a combination of both Windows services and web portals. For instance, Dropbox enables you to easily upload files by copying or moving them to a specified folder. Any files that you place within the folder will be uploaded to the online storage in real time. Today, we have a service called Twindocs that allows you to send and receive multiple documents at a time using a desktop tool or web portal. Supporting all widely used operating systems including Windows, Mac OS X, Android and iOS, it lets you easily upload, manage and sync documents with all configured devices...

Unlike Dropbox, using the web portal of Twindocs, you can choose to keep offline copies of only those files that you require; particularly useful for people who have memory limitations. For instance, say you have 20 documents and 10 image files uploaded to your Twindocs account, visiting the web portal lets you view each one of them without downloading them into your device. You can choose to download only the ones that you require on a particular device for offline viewing.
The Windows tool is quite simplistic and provides you with the basic options for uploading files without opening the web portal. You can create multiple folders in your account and choose the recipient folder before setting up the files for upload. This lets you keep the account organized without requiring any extra effort from your side.
Before you can start using it, you will have to register an account with the service. Once registered and activated, sign in to the desktop tool by entering your account and password information in the Preferences dialog box (click the green “p” button in the lower right corner to access Preferences).

To upload files, just drag and drop them over the desktop tool. The same drag and drop support is also available in the web portal, along with options to view them inside the browser, staple multiple files together, share them using Facebook, Twitter, Email or URL, Print them, or Download them.

Twindocs works on both 32-bit and 64-bit versions of Windows XP, Windows Vista, Windows 7 and Windows 8, and is also available for Mac OS X, Android and iOS devices.
